Words barely do justice in describing our stay at ‘Cliff Top Cottage’, Forrester Court. One word does come close however … MAGIC! Ariane and Brad are lovely people and the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to ensure our needs were well and truly met. Each morning, our family woke to a stunning view overlooking historical Cascade Bay and the South Pacific Ocean beyond. Breakfast on the deck surrounded by nature was a delight and a perfect way to start the day. Our luxury accommodation was more of a retreat than a cottage with every modern convenience provided. Our huge, king beds were oh so comfortable and we appreciated all the special little extras in each room that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The exquisite high tea was a highlight of our stay … the best on the island and an experience you won’t want to miss. We were also very impressed by the the positive way in which Forrester Court embraces sustainability and environmental awareness. More hotels and holiday stays should take a look at what the Forrester family is doing in this regard. As far as our family is concerned, Forrester Court is THE place to stay on Norfolk Island. We have taken home beautiful memories of this oasis in the Pacific and plan to make a return visit in the very near future … Nola, Chris and Irene.

High tea at Forrester Court is a ‘WOW” experience. The food was first rate and included complimentary bubbles on arrival and liquor sampling to finish. Add to that breathtaking cliff top views, genial, down to earth hosts and time for leisurely conversation with fellow participants, and it leads to an enjoyable afternoon. Thanks Ariana and Brad. We had a great time and one that we hope to be able to repeat some day soon.

Wow, 5 star all the way. Nothing was too much trouble for hosts Brad and Ariane. The peaceful setting and the views – sensational. Accommodation in The Gazebo was comfortable, luxurious and private, not to mention the rental car that was included.

We recently had a week staying in Strathlands- a beautiful little cottage. Apart from being very comfortable, a wonderful feature was the fact that you couldn’t see any other accommodation from it so it felt like you had the whole place to yourself. the grounds are beautiful and the views breath taking. You are made to feel welcome by the hosts, Ariane and Brad and nice touches are included such as the breakfast basket, beach towels, umbrellas. I know I won’t be packing as much next time. There is even a library where we found great books to read while we relaxed on the sun lounge.
It met all our expectations and more, we loved our stay.

- A beautiful little cottage
It is very rare when your expectations are exceeded by the experience. Well, this was one of those times. We have just spent a week in the Gazebo cottage which is 5 star. The views are spectacular from the cottage, the grounds are neat and clean. The hosts and staff were amazing. From the time Ariane met us at the airport to the hour that we departed was a very pleasant experience which I can recommend to anybody planning a trip to the Island. Well done.

We spent a lovely week in the Strathlands cottage. It was a nice touch that Ariane met us at the airport and gave a brief tour of the island on the way back to the cottages. We were particularly impressed with the tranquil setting and the willingness of Ariane and her staff to go the extra mile to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Ariane and Brad have put a lot of thought into the furnishing of the cottages so that extra little things like beach towels and umbrellas are available without having to ask. Based on our experience, we would recommend Forrester Court to anyone looking for nice accommodation in a tranquil setting.

Forrester Court is a must stay on Norfolk Island. This beautiful & tranquil accommodation is nestled away on a cliff top with magnificent ocean views. The perfect place to relax & to rejuvenate your mind & soul. Each cottage is respectfully private to other guests. We stayed in the Gazebo Cottage & look forward to experiencing the Cliff Top Cottage on a return visit. Your hosts Ariane & Brad have created a special experience for guests & have thought of everything down to the finest detail with cottages being discreetly serviced daily. All cottages also come with a bountiful breakfast basket for your stay. From first being cheerfully greeted at the airport by Ariane with your rental car to your last day goodbye you are made to feel so welcomed that you really do feel like you are staying with the best of friends. A big thank you to Ariane & Brad for making our holiday so special.

- A must stay on Norfolk Island
If you have earnt a luxurious break, you will find it here. We would rather have one week in ‘heaven’ than four weeks roughing it. However, sometimes 5 star claims are false and the holiday can be ruined. Forrester Court, the hosts and staff are wonderful. The breakfast basket exceeds expectations and guest accomodation is spotless and filled with extras e.g. Plunger and ground coffee, fresh beach towels every day, every kitchen implement needed to ‘cook up a storm’, beautiful soft furnishings, picnic sets and portable picnic chairs, enough crockery etc. to have friends visit for a meal. Give yourself a gift of peace and beauty and take a holiday at Forrester Court.

There are very few places on this earth where the marketing material does not do the venue justice… Forrester Court is one of these places. With the bar already set very high it was well and truly exceeded by the stunning views, the beautiful serene grounds, the five star accomodation, and the very personalised service from Ariane our wonderful host. The attention to detail was evident everywhere which made our stay extra special…an extraordinary place… run by extraordinary people.

We eloped to Forrester Court and stayed for a week, where we had the time of our lives. Our hosts were amazing, the Gazebo accommodation most outstanding, the best Celebrant in the nation officiated our Ceremony, the dining experiences were of the finest quality, the views spectacular, and even the resident cat was great company.
We were so happy with what Ariane and Brad arranged for us when it came to organising our Wedding Ceremony.
Norfolk Island, and Forrester Court, will always be special to us. We would happily come back every year on our anniversary.
